Hello, I am Kathy Hefley owner of FrenZy on the Harrison Square. I would like to say that BC Spotlight has very affordable advertising rates. You do not have to sign a LONG contract but there are discounts if you want to buy one of their promotions. The point being.. You have a CHOICE!
I am one of those "out of the box..forward thinking people and I appreciate BC Spotlight bringing something new and exciting like BOCODOD to our area. I have had tremendous response from the BOCODOD Coupons for FrenZy and from the Free BC Spotlight. I would recommend them to anyone interested in saving money and getting more than you pay for. Keep up the good work and thanks to all that are a part of this publication and website. :D

While we currently offer the option to enter classifieds online, we have not yet perfected our system for displaying online. We do plan to enable this capability in the near future.

We are working on an acceptable system for an administrator to approve ads before they are posted to avoid any inappropriate content from being displayed. As it currently sits, if we enable online ads, they would publish instantly.

Again, we are working as quickly as we can to offer this feature and hope to have available in the near future.

I am not a business owner or partner but I am a consumer and I especially like the fact that businesses are using this type of cost effective advertising. When I am needing some information I go directly to Boone County Spotlight as my first source for my information. I also like the open approach they have to communication with the public. Harrison Businesses needs to take a "Page" so to speak from the Spotlight in terms of balancing the business aspects with the needs/desires of the public. Harrison businesses needs to recognize the amount of business they are loosing because so many Harrison shoppers are traveling out of this area to make their purchases. Good Job Boone County Spotlight.

  • Angelsinar  - Great Front Page Article Today!

Thank you for saying something about Boone County residents shopping here in their home town. Also, you really need to write about the other side of that"coin"to complete the whole picture. The Boone County businesses need to realize by their over-pricing practices they continue to drive people to all the communities around us,even into another state. For example, why is it I can drive to Branson or Mountain Home, pay 3-5 cents for copies and here it's 10-12 cents? Lets not forget the gas,10-20 cents more a gallon?I even called the Governors office about the huge difference in gas prices.Businesses-please wake up and help the people right here in Boone County, help yourselves to keep the money right here in our community.Truly, I have been shocked at the number of businesses who do not have any concept or idea concerning the amount of dollars leaving this community. So, its a strong two way street!
