UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict we have re-scheduled the Postal Service's public meeting to Wednesday, December 1, at the North Arkansas College Center, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison AR, 72601.  The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm in the JPH Conference Center. (The previously scheduled date was November 16.)

I'm wanting the public to know that our local Post Office is in danger of closing and the employees being layed off or transferred. I would like the public to know that there will be a public meeting on Nov. 16th at 7pm at the North Arkansas College Durand Center on Main Street.

I encourage the Boone County Spotlight's readers to attend as well as other caring citizens of this town. We need our mail, jobs and people to stay here. We need our voices heard. If you would be so kind as to let the public know about this meeting so we can show our support in numbers I would greatly appreciate it.
